Privacy
What GxRadar collects (very little) and why.
GxRadar collects as little as possible. It has no accounts, no advertising, no analytics and no cookies.
Stored on your device
When you confirm the entry notice, your browser saves one value (gx_ack_v2) in local storage so the notice is not shown on every page. It contains no personal information. Clearing your browser data removes it.
Searches you run
- Pharmacy finder: the ZIP code, or the city and state, you enter is sent through GxRadar's server to the CMS NPI Registry. The pharmacy addresses that come back, not your search, are sent to the US Census Bureau Geocoder to place them on the map.
- Price lookup: the drug name you enter is sent through GxRadar's server to the CMS NADAC data service on data.medicaid.gov.
- GxRadar does not store your searches in any database. Results may be cached by the hosting network for up to 24 hours so the same search is faster for the next person.
Map
The pharmacy map loads map images from the OpenStreetMap Foundation's tile servers (tile.openstreetmap.org) and the Leaflet map library from cdnjs. Your browser sends those services your IP address and the map area you view. The OpenStreetMap Foundation's privacy policy applies.
Hosting and service providers
The site is hosted on Vercel, which processes standard request data such as IP address, browser type, the page or API address requested (which can include a ZIP code or drug name you searched) and time, to deliver and secure the site. Vercel keeps these logs for a limited period under its own policies. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, and scripts from jsDelivr and cdnjs. Those providers receive your IP address when your browser requests their files. Their privacy policies apply.
Health information
GxRadar does not ask for, and you should not submit, personal health information. Searches are not linked to any identity.
No sale or sharing
GxRadar does not sell or share personal information, as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act and similar state laws, and it does not use personal information for targeted advertising. GxRadar honors Global Privacy Control signals by default, because it does no tracking.
Children
The site is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their personal information.
Your choices and requests
Because GxRadar does not keep searches or profiles, it usually holds no personal information about you. You can still ask questions or make a request under applicable privacy law by writing to the corrections address that will be listed on the About page.
